The Community Centre Alliance (CCA) is committed to assisting community members in their pursuit of obtaining post-secondary education. Since the partnership began in 2006, Fry Family Foundation has awarded over 350 annual scholarships to CCA youth living in their five partnering St. John's neighbourhoods (Froude Avenue, Buckmaster’s Circle, McSheffrey, Rabbittown and Virginia Park). In 2020, post-secondary CCA scholarships became renewable. Applications, Selection, Renewal and Financial Management are conducted by the Post-Secondary Institutions - Memorial University/Marine Institute and College of the North Atlantic.. As part of the 20th Anniversary Celebrations, we collected quotes and stories from past recipients.
