I have always been passionate about education, especially when it comes to helping shape the future through the youngest members of our community. Once I complete my diploma, I plan to continue my studies by pursuing a degree in Education.
My journey in this field began at the Virginia Park Community Centre, where I started volunteering as soon as I was old enough. Over the years, I worked there in many roles—from summer camp counselor to Youth and Volunteer Coordinator. Those experiences taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, compassion, and the value of supporting vulnerable populations. They also sparked the love of learning and leadership that I carry with me today.
Thanks to the generous support of the Fry Family Foundation, I’ve been able to pursue my education while working full-time, without the financial stress that often comes with post-secondary studies. Their support has given me the chance to focus fully on what I love most: learning, growing, and helping others.
I’m grateful for the communities and organizations that have shaped who I am, and I look forward to continuing my journey in education—building brighter futures, one child at a time..
