Obtaining a scholarship as an older student and mother allowed me to prove to myself and my children that, if you believe in yourself, anything is possible! It was a great boost of confidence to realize that people genuinely cared about you and wanted you to succeed in life.
I am currently an Administrative Officer at the College of the North Atlantic in the Applied Research and Innovation Department. I graduated from the Records and Information Management program in June 2021. I completed my work term at the college and now today I am a permanent full-time employee.
Also, since I have been working, I have completed another program and graduated from Executive Office back in June.
