We were delighted to start the academic year with Community Centre Alliance students receiving new CNA scholarships or having their scholarships renewed. We also had FFF representatives attend three CNA award ceremonies which featured students from the following Campuses: Prince Philip Drive, Ridge Road, Seal Cove, Carbonear and Gander.
We always enjoy the opportunity to meet award recipients, and chat with our alumni, faculty, families and other donors. Sarah Downey is a second year Medical Laboratory Technology student and two-time FFF Alumni who received a 2024 FFF CNA Leadership Achievement Award and a 2006 FFF Horizon Award. This year Sarah is the recipient of the 2025 Paul McGee Memorial Achievement Award donated by VOCMCares Foundation. Sarah is President of the newly chartered CNA Campus Lions Club and was also the Student Guest Speaker at the ceremony for CNA St. John Campuses. |
