Memorial University of Newfoundland
A core value of the Fry Family Foundation is Leadership, and the Fry Family has been awarding scholarships to encourage the development of leaders at MUN since 1997. Past award recipients from 1997-2018 are listed by scholarship and this section also tells the story of the five original scholarships and provides an overview of all the FFF awards offered at MUN, including photos of past scholarship recognition events.

Pictured left to right are Paul Burt, Mohammed Kasmi, Adam Keating and Marie Burt at the 2017 Chancellor's Award Ceremony for the Fry Family Foundation Graduate and Undergraduate Leadership Awards. The Chancellor's Graduate and Undergraduate Awards are given at convocation to the student of the graduating class who has demonstrated the greatest leadership contribution to student life and other areas of the community during his or her university years. The Fry Family Foundation Leadership Award is presented to the graduate and undergraduate student who has been selected as Memorial University of Newfoundland’s most outstanding student leader. This award is given to the students who have been selected to receive the Chancellor's Award which is the most prestigious leadership recognition awarded by the University.
