Award Spotlight - President's Achievement Award
The Fry Family Foundation CNA President's Leadership Achievement Award rewards and recognizes the student who has best demonstrated high academic achievement coupled with exceptional leadership ability. The recipient of this prestigious award should also demonstrate a good interest in and a strong commitment to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador as demonstrated by volunteerism in the community and the College. This scholarship is awarded to a student in the final year of a full-time certificate or diploma level program.
This year's recipient is Tj Jones who was enrolled in the Business Management - Human Resource Management Program at the Prince Philip Drive Campus. Tj was the CNA President's Medal winner with the highest cumulative GPA across the programs and was also Valedictorian for the Class of 2020. The Fry Family Foundation CNA Leadership Achievement Award rewards students who have been making a difference in their communities. One award is given at each of the 17 CNA campuses across the province. Students who demonstrate leadership are vital elements to the future success of their communities and regions. This scholarship is awarded to a first year/entrance student enrolled in a full-time certificate or diploma level program, who best demonstrates academic excellence and leadership. |

The FFF CNA Business Leadership Achievement Award rewards students who have been making a difference in their communities and who best demonstrate academic excellence and leadership. The FFF CNA Artist Scholarship rewards an outstanding second year student enrolled in an Arts program who best demonstrates academic excellence, commitment, talent and drive to build a career in the arts. The James Sellars Apprenticeship Award recognizes individuals in the Construction/Industrial Electrician and Welder programs as they begin their program of study and celebrates their accomplishment as they reach journey person status. It also rewards students who have been making a difference in their communities and who best demonstrate academic excellence and leadership. |
