Announcing: Fry Family Foundation CNA Leadership Achievement Awards
The FFF scholarship program at CNA was revised in 2020 to better reflect the Foundation's emphasis on Leadership and Community Engagement. The new Leadership Achievement Awards reward students who are making a significant positive impact in their communities. They also recognize students who continue to deliver upon high academic standards and demonstrate continuous improvement in their leadership abilities. FFF believes that students who continuously improve their leadership attributes are vital to the future success of the communities and regions where they live and work. In further enhancing leadership skills, students are better equipped and will help to ensure the province’s economic sustainability across all regions of Newfoundland and Labrador. In total, the Foundation will now be granting 36 Awards annually to CNA students enrolled in programs at the 17 campuses and through Distributed Learning.

Her community involvement includes; coaching youth with the Gander Lakers Swim Club, developing child and youth programs at Wee Gym, and taking part in fundraisers such as the Terry Fox Run and the Imperial Oil United Way Campaign. Darci also headed CNA’s virtual Christmas raffle, which raised over $2000 for charities in Central Newfoundland. Prior to attending CNA, Darci completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (honours) at Memorial University and was named to the Dean's list.
