Service Integrated Learning Partnership 2021-22
In 2021-22, after a successful pilot of the Fry Family Foundation's support of a Service Integrated Learning Partnership with CNA’s Community Leadership Development (CLD) program, support was expanded to include Community Recreation Leadership (CRL) program students. This year, 40 students from both programs received a $1,000 stipend for their hard work and dedication to the not-for-profit sector. Both programs involved placements in 29 not-for-profit organizations. The CLD program involved 26 students from three CNA Campuses: Bay St. George, Carbonear and Grand Falls-Windsor. The CRL program included 14 students from the Prince Philip Drive CNA Campus, The organizations involved in 2021-22 are listed below.
The Foundation sees this as a great opportunity to empower students to affect change and positively influence communities. Our intent is to commit to a four-year program which will award 50 stipends annually. Read more in Pilot Project Expands within not-for-profit sector.
