Service Integrated Learning Partnership 2022-23
In 2022-23, after a successful pilot of the Fry Family Foundation's support of a Service Integrated Learning Partnership with CNA’s Community Leadership Development (CLD) program and Community Recreation Leadership (CRL) program students, support was expanded to include Tourism and Hospitality Service (THS) program students. This year, 18 students from these programs received a $1,000 stipend for their hard work and dedication to the not-for-profit sector. The CLD program involved 8 students from Bay St. George CNA Campus. The CRL program included 7 students from the Prince Philip Drive CNA Campus. The THS program included 3 students through Distributed Learning. All programs involved placements in 17 not-for-profit organizations which are listed below. The Foundation sees this as a great opportunity to empower students to affect change and positively influence communities.
