Leadership Entrance Scholarship Archives - Marine Institute of Memorial University

Fry Family Foundation created a six year program for two entrance scholarships at the Marine Institute in 2007. The Fry Family Foundation Diploma of Technology Leadership Scholarship and the Fry Family Foundation Bachelor of Technology/Maritime Studies Leadership Scholarship were awarded to students from Newfoundland and Labrador who had shown leadership in various community organizations while maintaining a strong academic performance. These scholarships were awarded by the MI Scholarship Committee. Glenn Blackwood, then Vice President of the Marine Institute stated, “Among the many donors who recognize the critical need to provide student support, the Fry Family Foundation continues to be a leader, supporting both scholarships and student leadership at the Marine Institute and in the province.”  Learn more about these Fry Family Foundation Scholarships announced at Marine Institute.
