Fry Family Foundation Junior Leadership Award, 2012
I was a recipient of the Fry Family Foundation Junior Leadership Award many years ago! I remember feeling very accomplished and proud that I was selected. After becoming a high school teacher myself, I can honestly say the boost of support from the Fry Foundation is something very special. You feel part of a family. I remember getting my photo taken my first year of university with other recipients, and I became very close to many of them. The scholarship money helped me turn my dream of becoming a teacher into reality, and I couldn’t be happier.
