Sarah Ryan is the recipient of the JMC Facey Engineering Scholarship. She is a first-year student at Memorial University, currently studying engineering. Sarah grew up in Paradise, NL and graduated with honours from Holy Spirit High School in Conception Bay South. Throughout her time in high school, Sarah was involved in a student leadership homeroom and spent much of her spare time tutoring students in her school community in various subjects and assisting with the planning and delivery of many school events. Sarah is currently settling into her university routine and when she isn’t studying, she enjoys spending time reading, shopping, or in the company of friends and family. Sarah was also the recipient of a Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science High Achiever Entrance Scholarship and the Irving Oil Limited Scholarship.
