Judy's Oasis
The therapeutic pool at the Haven, primarily funded by FFF, was completed in 2018 and named Judy’s Oasis Aquatic Therapy Center, in honour of Judy Repple, FFF Trustee and volunteer at The Haven. It features a commercial pool and includes a zero-depth entry with a ramp entrance, restroom facilities, a screened enclosure and a brick paver deck. Brad Jones, president and CEO of The Haven, said in a press release that “Aquatic therapy is a really underutilized form of therapy for children, teenagers and adults and that Judy’s Oasis will assist individuals with walking, range of motion and flexibility.” |

Marlene's House
Although there are other group homes on the property, Marlene's House was the first one in the state to offer single-room living. Due to overhead costs, group homes typically offer shared rooms only, but thanks to a partnership between FFF and the residents’ parents, the money was raised to build it. It was completed in 2016 and was a great addition to the Haven. Watch a video about Marlene's House. A mile-long bike trail is connected to the lanai and weaves through the Haven, connecting group homes and residents to one another. It was named in honour of Marlene Fry FFF co-founder and volunteer at The Haven. The Foundation also provided financial support for a computer room and athletic quad in 2013. |

Jingle & Jog Race
FFF has been a primary sponsor for the annual Jingle & Jog 5K race in support of community Haven since 2006. The race is held on the 32-acre Haven campus and as an extra incentive, FFF makes a donation for every runner, walker, and wheelchair racer crossing the finish line. In 2020, a virtual 23rd Annual Jingle & Jog 5k event was held where participants could race with anyone, anywhere. Since 2021, The Haven has had everyone back running together again through their Sarasota Winter Wonderland. Participants can run and/or walk this race and customize it to their own fitness and comfort level. FFF Co-Founder Darryl Fry and FFF Trustee Gerry Ripple have been running in this event for many years. |
