Marine Institute of Memorial University
It has been shown that students who began to understand the complexities of Leadership at an early stage in their university education were more likely to step forward to take a Leadership approach to their own personal and professional development.
From 2006-2012, Fry Family Foundation awarded a total of 53 Entrance Scholarships for Marine Institute students who were recognized for their Leadership qualities. Learn more about when these original Fry Family Foundation Scholarships were announced at Marine Institute.
In 2016, the Foundation established the Leadership Awards at Marine Institute. These Awards celebrate and encourage the development of leadership qualities that can be applied in our communities, at work and in our classrooms.
