​ J.M.C. Facey Engineering Scholarship Recipients

This scholarship was named in honor of a former engineering professor and electrical engineer who taught Darryl Fry math. JMC Facey also inspired Darryl to pick a career  in chemical engineering. Professor Facey was a gifted engineering professor who earned the title professor emeritus and was renowned for his ability to make complex mathematical concepts accessible and practical for his students. In 2025,  Dr. Facey was named to the Centennial 100 list for Memorial University in the  Innovator category. Read more in Convocation Cornerstone.
